#What types of conditions do you treat in your inpatient services? We offer treatment for almost all types of mental health conditions. Some of the most common conditions include Schizophrenia, Bipolar mood Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, Panic Disorder, Depressive Disorders, Personality Disorder, and Substance Abuse Disorders and so on. We also provide treatment for childhood mental disorders like Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Behavioral Disorders, and Autism Spectrum Disorders.

#How long does a typical inpatient stay last?

The duration of stay defers for patient to patient based mostly on diagnosis, duration of illness, severity of the symptoms and the presence of co-morbidity. However, on an average the minimum duration of most patients is usually at least 3 weeks. This much time is required for the medications to start working optimally and for symptoms to start settling down.

#What should patients bring with them for their inpatient stay?

The following is a checklist of items that patients should bring:3- to 4 garments for daily use;3-4 undergarments; Tooth brush; Towel; Comb; Pair of sandals; Reading books; Sanitary napkins (for females);

#Are there any items that the patient should not bring along?

The following is a checklist of items advised not to bring: Jewelry; Any expensive personal item; Sharp weapons like nail cutter etc.

#How is the privacy of patients maintained?

Patient information is not shared with anyone other than legal guardians. Only guests listed by guardians during admission are allowed to visit the patient. We do not take any pictures of our clients’ faces. No male visitors are allowed to enter the female wards. Female clients are brought down in the lobby to visit their male family members.

#How often can family members visit patients in the inpatient unit?

Family members are advised to visit during visiting hours or by calling us before coming to visit.

However, sometimes consultants may restrict visitors as may be beneficial for the patient.

#What safety measures are in place in the inpatient service?

CCTV is installed in all patient movement areas to ensure continuous supervision. We make sure patients do not carry any sharp weapon; we keep light weight furniture and melamine cookeries, and the bathrooms lock systems are easy to break to minimize the risk of any kind of harm.

#How are treatments plans developed and monitored?

Respective psychiatrists make customized treatment plan that is executed by our trained medical team members.

#Is there separate accommodation for male and female clients?

Male and female patients are accommodated in separate wards and private cabins designed for comfort, privacy, and dignity.
